The purpose of this event is to promote communication between foreign teachers and students in the college, enhance their understanding of traditional Chinese culture, and also provide a platform for foreign teachers and students to speak freely. In order to let foreign teachers and students better experience the atmosphere of traditional Chinese festivals, the college carefully prepared delicious Zongzi and rich Dim sum before the meeting. The venue layout is also ingenious and full of festive atmosphere. Colorful Loong Boat Festival decorations are hung on the wall, and exquisite flowers and fruits are placed on the table, making the whole conference room full of warm and harmonious atmosphere.

At the beginning of the meeting, Vice Secretary Chen Bixia, the host of the tea party, expressed a sincere welcome to everyone and introduced the original intention of holding the tea party to the attendees. Academician Chen Xiangsheng, Dean of the College, and Party Secretary Zuo Yingzi delivered speeches respectively, expressing warm welcome and holiday wishes to the numerous foreign teachers and students present.

Next, Foreign Secretary Wang Xingjun vividly told the story of Qu Yuan, as well as the traditional customs of eating Zongzi and racing Loong Boat on the Loong Boat Festival. The atmosphere was warm and warm.

In the subsequent teacher-student exchange session, everyone carefully counted various traditional festivals and customs in China. Several foreign postdoctoral fellows, including WALID NABIL MANSOUR ABDELFATtah and MUHAMMAD ISRAR KHAN, gave enthusiastic speeches and shared their own country's festivals and traditional customs. The scene was full of diverse cultural colors.

During the communication process, foreign teachers and students also engaged in discussions on some hot topics. Everyone raised various issues encountered in life and work in China, and the college representatives carefully listened to the opinions and suggestions of foreign teachers and students. The topic of whether foreign postdoctoral students can be taught in undergraduate and graduate courses has sparked heated discussions, with many foreign teachers and students expressing willingness to try. Foreign teacher Bence Kato believes that this not only enhances their teaching abilities, but also helps promote academic exchanges between China and foreign countries.

The college has always been committed to creating an international and diverse academic environment, and will continue to strive to provide better learning and living conditions for foreign teachers and students. This foreign tea party is not only a cultural exchange event, but also a collision and fusion of hearts. We look forward to more opportunities in the future for teachers and students from different cultural backgrounds to grow and progress together in the big family of the School of Civil and Transportation Engineering.

The tea party ended in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. Through this tea party, foreign teachers and students not only deepened their understanding of traditional Chinese culture, but also felt the care and support of the college for them.
